With the presence of COVID19, many questions arise about what precautions are taken to limit the risk of the contraction and spread of the disease. In the U.S., the CDC recommends the use of HEPA purifiers to help reduce viral concentrations. Our office is up to date with a state of the art UV light system, producing hospital grade air quality throughout the office.

Many common illnesses are spread with a cough or sneeze; however, in a dental setting, aerosols are constantly being emitted into the air. While many of these particles land on a surface and can be disinfected and wiped away, many also circulate through the air. Therefore, medical grade air purifiers are beneficial in capturing those harmful airborne particles and reducing the chances of virus particles spreading throughout different parts of the office.

Another concern that can be eliminated with higher quality air purification is environmental factors that irritate and contribute to asthma attacks or that can affect other pulmonary conditions. It is our responsibility as your dental home to ensure that we keep our NOCDC community safe and healthy!

…AND we’re doing our part for the environment

Our filtration system’s manufacturer was the first “filter company to use the new variable speed digitally controlled motors that used up to 50% less electricity than induction motors in continuous operation mode. These motors are energy efficient, “Energy Star” rated and meet all the new LEED certifications for energy efficiency.”
