Tooth Crowns

If a cavity is visible in your child’s mouth without an x-ray, that tooth most probably needs a crown restoration. Our office recommends stainless steel crowns for back baby molars, and we offer multiple white crown options for top front tooth.

Dental Sealants

Dental Sealants are a preventive measure placed to help ensure that your child’s permanent molars remain cavity free.

Tooth Fillings

Our office offers tooth colored fillings for smaller cavities on both baby and permanent tooth. These cavities can be on the chewing surface, or in between the tooth detectable by x-rays.

Fluoride Varnish

We recommend topical fluoride varnish applications after every cleaning beginning at age one. Fluoride varnish is the most efficient way to harden weakened areas in your child’s tooth.

Age One Visit

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends a child’s first dental visit by age one.Establishing a dental home for your baby allows you access to our doctors for important information regarding growth and development, as well as unexpected emergencies.

Laughing Gas

Laughing gas is used frequently to help children have the best experience possible when receiving dental treatment. It minimizes anxiety and allows the child to follow directions from the doctor more easily.

Regular Checkup

Six-month checkups are important because baby tooth are much thinner than permanent tooth, which allows cavities to spread more quickly. In patients who are high risk we may offer more frequent cleanings to decrease your child’s need for future treatment.

Space Maintainers

Space maintainers are non-removable appliances that ensure proper growth and development when a baby tooth is lost early. They often prevent future orthodontic problems that can be very costly down the road.

Hospital Dentistry

For patients in need of dental treatment who are very young, extremely anxious and fearful, and/ or who have special medical needs, our doctors may prescribe treatment in a hospital setting. This option allows your child to receive the quality care and treatment they need without compromising the positive relationship they develop with our office.

Orthodontic Assessment

At every checkup we continuously re-evaluate your child’s facial growth and development. If indicated, we will recommend an orthodontic consultation when age appropriate.
